European Court of Human Rights Shows Religion Not Required for Morality

The European Court of Human Rights last week ruled that the religious practice of slaughtering animals while they're fully conscious, as is required by Islam and Judaism, is a violation of morality. This helps to make the important point that religion is not necessary for people to be moral.
